Overview
LED replacement bulbs can fit numerous boat and RV applications such as navigation lights, cabin lights, dome lights, tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, turn signals or side marker lights. This 1156 single-contact bulb has 27 LEDs that create a 360° viewing angle for better, allover light emission with reduced hot spots. Produces up to 320 lumens at 6200K. Tower-style design with a BA15S 15-mm bayonet base for easy plug-and-play installation—just twist to lock in place. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 10-30V DC range and is designed to last 30,000 hours on your motorhome or boat—25 times longer than incandescents. Available in cool white, amber and red. Not sold in pairs. Price per bulb.

Bulbs have Plus and Minus (like batteries) and will only work when polarity is correct. If bulb does not work when installed, turn it around in the socket.

| Lumen meters are a great way to measure white light output but can be deceptive for colored bulb intensity. Lumens measure light wavelengths in all colors of the visible spectrum. Because multiple wavelengths create white light and colored bulbs are a single-wavelength source, colored bulbs will have lower lumen readings. However, they will appear equally as bright as a white bulb. |  |

What a BRIGHT idea..!
I replaced the cabin light, bulbs, in my boat ( a 26 foot Sea Ray ) with these 1156-CW27-T L.E.D.'S, and WOW, what a difference it made.! We were staying on the boat almost every weekend, for two or three days and nights. The cabin lights were old style, dim. and causing eye strain, for the wife and I both, so we just went to bed when it got dark.. What a loss. With these new led's the lights are so much brighter that I have been able to stay up and plan the next days cruising routes, complete the ship's log book, and even do the math to estimate fuel use and fuel needed.. These were things I had been getting up at sun-up to get done, so we could leave port early in the day. Now I don't have too.! I can sleep in and enjoy the boat more, and still get a full day on the water, after a good breakfast, of coarse.! So what's next.? I'm going to replace ALL of the deck and walk-way lights with the same bulbs.. No more tripping over Dog Food Dishes, or other stuff..!
