- Oversize
- For best results the LED color should be the same as the lens color. If bulb is behind a clear lens, use the appropriate color for turn and brake light functions. Please See More LED Car Bulb Notes
- To protect LEDs in marine applications, it is advisable to use a 12 VDC line conditioner to compensate for voltage irregularities common in marine low-voltage systems.
Product Description
LED replacement bulbs can fit numerous boat and RV applications such as navigation lights, cabin lights, reverse lights and dome lights. This 1156 single-contact bulb has 15 high-power LEDs (1-watt SMD). The radially mounted LEDs create a 320° viewing angle, and a forward-facing focusing lens produces a narrow spot beam pattern for long-range illumination. Produces 400 lumens at 7500K. Tower-style design with a BA15S 15-mm bayonet base for easy plug-and-play installation—just twist to lock in place. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 12-24V DC range and is designed to last 30,000 hours on your motorhome or boat—25 times longer than incandescents. Cool white color. I have a set of these as my reversing lights. I had installed 1156 LED Bulb - Single Intensity 45 SMD LED Tower Cool White. At the time they were the brightest going but its these new bulbs that are now the benchmark. Eliminating hot spots all together. Getting comments with what I'm using cause its just so bright. Cant wait till they come in Red Duel Intensity for tail lights and Amber Single Intensity for Indicators.
