The KLUS® HR-ALU LED Strip Channel is a low-profile (8.5mm height), heavy-duty professional aluminum profile housing mount for LED strip lights up to 11mm wide. The extruded aluminum channel installs as a flush mount for use on tile floors and walls in wet areas. For smooth "line of light" illumination with no visible hot spots, use the frosted lens with high-density LED strips. The channel resists standard loads, cleaning, and general floor maintenance and is installed with adhesive in a prepared gap between tiles. Designed to reach a waterproof rating for wet areas when installed with a cover, end caps, and neutral silicone sealant (see accessories). Available in 1m (3.3 ft) or 2m (6.6 ft) lengths. The extrusion made from high quality aluminum is designed for flexible or rigid LED strips that are 8-10mm wide. One of the
accessories offered for the extrusion is a cover that shades and protects LEDs inside the profile.
The extrusion is designed to be mounted to surfaces, such as ceramic tiles with the use of mounting adhesive. The design and
parameters of HR-ALU extrusion and its cover make the fixture durable and sturdy when mounted in the floor, as well as resistant
to standard loads, cleaning and general floor maintenance.
Applications
Due to its high integrity and compact size, HR-ALU extrusion is ideal for use in bathroom, shower, floor applications or areas
exposed to water. The extrusion is as high as the average thickness of the ceramic tile and mounting adhesive, thus it is very often
mounted in floors as it integrates with the floor surface. Additionally, it can be used to illuminate exterior architectural elements,
such as building facades, terraces, gardens, etc.
