Wildlife-friendly lighting is designed to drastically reduce the disorientating effects of artificial light pollution on the natural mating, hunting, and migratory behavior of nocturnal wildlife. These fixtures will have an ultra-warm or true-amber color temperature with a wavelength longer than 560 nanometers. They are full-cutoff fixtures where most of the light is directed downward, minimizing light pollution.
