Overview
The 2x2 LED Flat Panel Light features a low profile, white steel housing, and a frosted lens. These are equivalent to a traditional 3-lamp 17W T8 tube fixture and can be easily installed in a t -grid drop ceiling (optional surface mount available). Each 40W panel delivers up to 4,520 lumens and has an integrated ECO sensor, which functions as a PIR and a daylight harvesting sensor. Within the app, select the desired CCT from preset color temperatures (3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K) or select the CCT from a range of tunable whites (2700K-6500K). Using Bluetooth MESH, these sensors allow similarly equipped lights to communicate on the same network and can be controlled from a single device. Up to 100 lights can be controlled with the App or with the wall switch. Each panel light is Gold-level rated for protected data transmission, storage, and app security. Suitable for damp locations, they work best in hospitals, hotels, or office buildings. Only sold in 4-packs. Also available as a 2x4.

IC Rated
IC (Insulation Contact) Rated An IC-rated fixture is designed to operate in direct contact with insulation material. Its rating indicates that the fixture has added thermal protection, minimizing fire hazards.
NLC
NLC - This product meets the Design Lights Consortium (DLC) requirements for interior and exterior networked lighting control (NLC) systems. For more information, see the NLC Technical Requirements on the DLC site.
Tunable White
Tunable White bulbs and strips allow users to adjust the color temperature of the light output, ranging from warm to cool white, to suit different settings and preferences. This adjustability is achieved by mixing different proportions of white LEDs with varying color temperatures within a single fixture.

Certifications/Compliance
Certifications/Compliance
Standards and certifications comprise a vast number of companies and compliances that serve specific purposes—primarily addressing safety, environmental impact and energy efficiency, and sanitation. They are divided into categories for each product type and certification type to allow for very specific qualifications related to each product. When this system is being used as intended, it gives consumers, installers, suppliers, and anyone else that may be involved confidence that the product is safe and will work well in their application. The most common UL and ETL certifications relate to safety and installation, although they do also provide some sanitation-related certifications (using NSF standards). Another common certification body is the DLC, which specializes in certifying the performance of a light—mainly related to environmental impact and electrical efficiency. Current Draw
Current Draw
Current draw is calculated using the following formula: W/V = A, where W = the amount of power your light needs (wattage), V is the electrical system voltage (e.g., 120V AC), and A = amps. An ampere or amp (A) is the standard unit for electrical current. A milliamp (mA) equals one-thousandth of an amp, or 1000 mA is equivalent to 1 A.
Choosing LED fixtures with the correct amperage ensures safe and proper operation, preventing damage or injury. We recommend having all electrical components and fixtures installed by a certified professional electrician or lighting technician in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. |

Suitable for Dry Locations This marking indicates that you can use the light or component in a location not normally subject to dampness. This may include locations exposed to temporary dampness, such as a building under construction, provided that ventilation is adequate to prevent moisture accumulation. Use these fixtures in living rooms, bedrooms, offices, hallways, and similar areas. The marking may be "SUITABLE FOR DAMP LOCATIONS" or "DRY LOCATIONS ONLY."Suitable for Damp Locations Fixtures marked “SUITABLE FOR DAMP LOCATIONS” or “SUITABLE FOR WET LOCATIONS” can be installed in damp locations. A damp location is an exterior or interior location regularly or occasionally subject to moisture condensation on or around electrical equipment. It includes partially protected places such as covered patios and porches. Damp locations include any regularly muggy or humid area, such as above a kitchen sink or stove, and appropriately vented bathrooms near the tub or shower.Suitable for Wet Locations Fixtures and components marked "SUITABLE FOR WET LOCATIONS" can be installed in wet or damp locations. A wet location is anywhere water or other liquids may drip, splash, or flow on or against electrical equipment. A light marked "SUITABLE FOR WET LOCATIONS" may have additional markings that tell where and at what height it can be safely mounted. Uncovered outdoor areas like decks, gazebos, walls, and typical landscape lighting sites all fall under the heading of wet locations. |
