Overview
The Grille CrossLink Lightbar Kit for the 2021+ Ford Bronco (with steel bumper) from Diode Dynamics allows you to mount six linked SS5 LED pods in front of the factory grille, giving you 28,800 total lumens. These brackets were CAD-designed to bolt into place using stock mounting points on the factory grille. No cutting or drilling is required!
These auxiliary lamps have been designed for maximum functionality with patented technology and custom-engineered TIR optics, all in a durable package.
The Stage Series 5" LED Pods in the kit feature a selectable backlight with eight different color options, perfect for an extra styling accent or more visibility when you're not using the main beam. Selecting your backlight color is easy - alternate the power on and off. There's no complicated programming with a controller! The SS5's backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing unique accent lighting that you won't find on other LED pods.
Diode Dynamics' patent-pending CrossLink technology allows you to link the six SS5s included in this kit together to create a single lightbar. The single-piece CNC aluminum link provides extreme rigidity but is fully adjustable for straight and curved configurations. Every SS5 has inset threaded mounts, eliminating the need to buy a specialized linking version of the SS5 for your setup.
The kit includes an OEM aux switch adapter wire that connects to the harness and allows you to control your lights using the factory-installed aux switch bank. Two switches are required - one for the main beam and one for the backlight. For those who don't have the aux switch bank, you will use the toggle switch adapter wire included with the harness to mount a switch.
The combo pattern combines a focused 30° x 20° Driving beam in the middle with Flood optics on the top and bottom to create a full 70° x 30° degree pattern to provide extra light for every situation. High-intensity LED emitters and TIR optics provide unmatched focus and overall output. The 6000K cool white output matches most factory LED lighting. The Sport model uses nine high-intensity LEDs for 40W of total power.
These lights have been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40° to 185° F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. These tests are completed to SAE standards, just like factory components. Racers and enthusiasts have also put them to the test on-road.

Combo Beams Combo vehicle lights are a combination of a spot light and a flood light that are always on simultaneously. This allows for the light to cover both short and long distances at the same time for a variety of tasks. Selectable Multibeams Selectable multibeams contain both a spot light and a flood light. With this, you gain the ability to have either the spot light or the flood light, or both on at the same time. Selectable multi-beams are extremely versatile in that you get three beam patterns in a single light. However it does require additional wiring to operate both beams independently through either multiple rocker switches, or a momentary switch. Combo + Side Shooters Side shooters illuminate a full 180 degrees or more through the use of a combo beam vehicle light. Side shooters contain an extra row of vertically or horizontally stacked and angled LED lights. This row is what gives the side shooter the ability to expand beyond a normal flood light's field of view. Side shooters are best used while stationary or at very low speeds where the field of view is critical. |
