Using patent-pending CrossLink technology, the SS5 Universal CrossLink 7-Pod Lightbar Kit from Diode Dynamics links seven SS5 LED pods into a single lightbar. Featuring the highest output intensity at 4,800 lumens per pod, the SS5 LED light pods have been designed for maximum functionality with patented technology, custom-engineered TIR optics, and a selectable backlight, all in a durable package.

The Stage Series 5" LED Pods feature a selectable backlight with eight different color options, perfect for an extra styling accent or more visibility when you're not using the main beam. Selecting your backlight color is easy - alternate the power on and off. There's no complicated programming with a controller! The SS5's backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing unique accent lighting that you won't find on other LED pods. (DD4104 harness required for backlit features)

Diode Dynamics' patent-pending CrossLink technology allows you to link up to eight SS5 pods together to create a single lightbar. The single-piece CNC aluminum link provides extreme rigidity but is fully adjustable for straight and curved configurations. Every SS5 has inset threaded mounts, eliminating the need to buy a specialized linking version of the SS5 for your setup.

Stage Series beam patterns were designed with advanced optical simulation modeling to shape the output in highly functional beam patterns. The Combo pattern combines a row of driving optics in the middle and a flood optic on the top and bottom, making it perfect for all-around use. It shines light downrange in a focused 30° x 20° Driving beam to punch with distance and fills in the surrounding area to create a full 70° x 30° degree pattern, providing extra light for every situation.

All options use high-intensity LED emitters and TIR optics for unmatched focus and overall output. The Sport model uses nine high-intensity LEDs for 40W of total power with a 6000K cool white color temperature that matches most factory LED lighting.

All SS5 LED pods feature a custom-molded DT-type Deutsch-style connector on the back. DT splitters are included in the kit to connect the pods, along with a 6-inch pigtail with bare wire leads. You can wire yourself or use an off-the-shelf Deutsch DT-sized wire harness for installation.

These lights have been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40° to 185° F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. These tests are completed to SAE standards, just like factory components. Racers and enthusiasts have also put them to the test on-road.
