TLCI is more relevant for these industries than the general-purpose Color Rendering Index (CRI) and helps maintain on-screen color consistency while reducing the need for post-production color correction.

Ultra-High CRI

Ultra-high CRI (Color Rendering Index) values mean a light source accurately renders colors. CRI measures how accurately a light source shows an object's true colors and is calculated on a scale from 0 to 100, with 100 indicating perfect color rendering matching the spectrum of natural sunlight. In contrast, a low CRI value indicates a less precise rendering. Color accuracy is essential for specific applications, such as portrait studios, retail stores, hospitals, medical and commercial offices, display cases, and warehouses, where telling the difference between similar colors is crucial.
