How to Install Under Cabinet LED Strip Lighting

Learning how to install under cabinet LED strip lighting is easier and faster than most people think. It’s also a great way to open a space, add color, and increase the functionality of your home. Watch this video and follow these steps for the easiest installation you can imagine.

Note: There are several different methods for installing LED strip lights under kitchen cabinets. This one will get you that gentle kitchen glow as quickly and easily as possible. 

Installation: 

• Wire the LED light strip to the controller provided in the kit.
• Connect the barrel connector to the input side of the controller.
• Tighten the screws.
• Connect the strip to the output side of the controller using the wire connectors.
• After the controller is wired, plug the power supply into the controller, and test to see if the strip is working.
• Mount controller to the cabinet.
• Once it is securely mounted, start applying the strips.
• Starting from the controller, peel away the backing as you move along the edge of the cabinet.
• When you reach a corner, fold over the strip at a 90-degree angle.
• Continue on the other leg of the cabinets.
• If you hit a spot where two cabinets meet, just apply the strip over the lip of the cabinet.
• Cut off the excess stripping at the appropriate spot on the strip (marked).
