Flexible LED Neon Strip Lights: An Alternative to Glass Neon Lights
Looking for a neon light alternative? Our flexible LED neon strip lights are a perfect replacement for flickering, breakable neon lighting. These cutting-edge lights are a remarkably durable, energy-efficient, and versatile lighting solution. Discover why many businesses are making the switch below.
Flexible Neon LED Strips vs Glass Neon Tube Lights
Glass neon lights are fragile, require frequent repairs, and are prone to flickering, buzzing, and overheating. Flexible LED neon strip lights eliminate these common issues while delivering the classic neon light look. These strips are designed to provide a continuous line of light without hotspots to mimic the appearance of traditional neon tube lighting. Neon LED strip lights are completely shatterproof and watertight, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use. They can be easily bent into custom shapes and wrapped around corners or curves to fit an endless number of applications. Neon LED strips are also designed to last longer and consume significantly less energy than standard neon tube lights. Their low energy consumption and proper heat dissipation ensure the neon strips do not get overly hot. LED technology also eliminates the need for repairs and maintenance, helping to lower overall operating costs.
LED Neon Strip Light Applications
With a bright, eye-catching appearance, LED neon strips are sure to help grab the attention of your customers and patrons. Use these colorful lights to add decorative lighting in movie theaters, retail stores, bars, clubs, signage, storefronts, outdoor decks, interior coves, window trims, counters, and more. Our neon strip lights are fully encased in silicone, so you can safely install these lights in both indoor and outdoor spaces. Flexible neon strips are also commonly used to create personalized wall art by pairing them with rigid and flexible aluminum channels and other accessories. You can cut neon strips into smaller segments and join multiple pieces for custom lighting projects. Be mindful of the maximum bending diameters when shaping your strip lights.
Types of LED Neon Strip Lights
There are three main types of neon LED strip lights: side bend, top bend, and dual bend. As the names suggest, side bend neon strip lights can be bent and shaped from side to side, top bend neon strips can be bent going forward and backward, and dual bend strips can be flexed from any direction. Based on the type of neon strip light you select, you can choose from several color options including red, blue, green, single CCT, color-changing RGB, RGB+W, and tunable white strips.

Powering Your LED Neon Strip
Glass neon lights require a transformer to convert standard line voltage into a voltage high enough to ionize the gas inside the neon sign tubes. These transformers can sometimes be bulky and heavy, and their high output voltage increases the risk of an accidental electric shock. Our 24V LED neon strips, on the other hand, are powered with a 24V power supply. These low-voltage power supplies safely connect to your strip lighting system. Unlike neon tube transformers, they are small in size and can be easily positioned out of sight. LED neon strip light power supplies also require no maintenance and cost significantly less than traditional neon tube transformers. For RGB, RGBW, and tunable white neon LED strips, using a compatible controller gives you increased customization options. You can also connect a PWM dimmer to your LED neon strip lighting system for dimmable neon lighting.
