We offer two explosion-proof LED lights for use in granaries, paint booths, mills, mines, gas stations, auto shops, or other potentially hazardous locations. These LED flood lights are certified as UL844 and meet National Electric Code, NFPA 70, requirements in the U.S. for Class 1 Div 2 (groups A, B, C, and D) hazardous locations. The light fixtures also meet ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 21 requirements in the EU for the likely conditions of flammable dust, gas, mists, and vapors.
The 100- and 200-watt LED lights emit 8,200 lumens and 16,200 lumens, respectively, of natural white illumination. They’re designed to replace 250-watt or 400-watt metal-halide (MH) fixtures with comparable output. These waterproof LED fixtures operate within a 100-277V AC range and are built to last five times longer than MH lights.
Each durably constructed light has a vibration-resistant die cast aluminum housing that prevents the release of sparks from internal components, and LEDs are protected by a tempered glass lens. A conduit is required for installation. The LED flood lights can be pole mounted or mounted to a wall or ceiling with included brackets. A five-year warranty protects against any manufacturer defects or malfunctions.
