READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING LUNAR ACCENTS
Congratulations! You are now only 3 steps away from illuminating your headlights and changing they way people see your car forever! Lunar Accents will illuminate your headlights twenty-four hours a day with no risk to your battery! Of course you could connect a switch, but incredibly low power consumption makes it unnecessary. Lunar Accents will not affect the operation of your normal headlights or their appearance. Install your Lunar Accents today to give your vehicle a unique look like none other!
1) Drilling
Move your vehicle to a dry and well-lit location. Make sure you allow yourself enough time to fully complete the installation process. Open your hood and carefully examine your headlights for the most appropriate drilling location. You may choose to completely remove the headlights from your vehicle. To increase life span, keep Lunar Accents away from the halogen bulbs and avoid mounting Lunar Accents directly above the halogen bulbs. You may need to drill through several layers of material and you may want to remove the halogen bulbs before drilling. If you remove the halogens, avoid touching the glass portion of the bulb. Avoid drilling through curved surfaces because the grommet may not form an airtight seal. Drill the holes using a ¼-inch bit, which can be purchased from any hardware store. While you drill, hold the drill as straight as possible to prevent widening of the hole. Do not attempt to drill through headlights made of glass. Remove any leftover dust from the headlights after drilling.
2) Inserting LEDS
Gently lower the LEDS through the ¼-inch holes and into each headlight. Be sure to route all wires through the engine compartment avoiding all hot or moving parts. Using tweezers, carefully insert the grommets as seen in the diagrams below. Finally, insert the push plugs into the grommets to seal the holes. Use extreme caution inserting the push plugs, being careful not to force the grommets into the headlights! You can lubricate the push plugs with rubbing alcohol and use small circular motions for easier insertion. Ensure that both push plugs are fully inserted. If one headlight appears dimmer than the other, try reinserting the push plug.
3) Connecting Wires
Carefully fasten the ground connector beneath a small bolt. You must use only the ground connector included or Lunar Accents will be permanently damaged! You must also “fuse protect” the wiring! Remove a fuse from the fuse box beneath your hood or dash. Strip insulation from the end of the power wire and insert it into one of the two fuse-leg slots. Your Lunar Accents should NOT be on until you put the fuse back in. If they are on, insert the power wire into the other fuse-leg slot. Finally, put the fuse back in and Lunar Accents will turn on. If they still do not turn on, try a different fuse and repeat the procedure above. Use the black wire ties included to bundle up extra wire slack and also to secure wires from vibrations. You can connect a switch if desired.

Consider installing a switch with red and orange Lunar Accents because of slightly increased power consumption. To prolong life span, turn off Lunar Accents while your headlights or high beams are on. Never remove or substitute the ground connector included. Be sure to “fuse protect” wiring with your own fuse or by the method described in step three above. If one headlight appears dimmer than the other, try reinserting the push plug. Email us if you need extra push plugs. Lunar Accents is not responsible for damage to vehicles due to improper installation. Please install and use Lunar Accents at your own risk.
